What is TPMS Sensor?
Tire Pressure Monitoring System Sensor monitors tire pressure and temperature. It helps you know the situation of four tires and prompts you to take in-time actions to prevent puncture and damage to car parts caused by flat tires. It also helps prevent flat tires, forecast leakage, reduce tire wire, prolong tire life, improve fuel efficiency and increase traffic safety.
Why Choose Pre-programmed tire sensors
Pre-programmed tire sensors come ready to install upon compatibility check. Skipping hassle and cost for tire shop to program sensors can save you big bucks. Simply advise your installer to scan new sensors to make sure their tool can retrieve sensor information such as frequency, tire pressure, battery status and etc.
What is Re-learning
All vehicle makes and models have different service requirements, including the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). When TPMS sensors are replaced or wheels have been rotated, a relearn procedure is required. The purpose of the relearn is to share the new TPMS sensor IDs to the vehicle. This allows the sensors to “talk” to the vehicle and alert the driver if any tires have low air pressure or if there is a malfunction with the TPMS system.
